Our wire pipe brushes — also known as twisted spiral brushes, twisted-in-wire brushes, or tube cleaning brushes — are constructed with bristle material twisted and locked between 2 or 4 wire stems by machine, producing a uniformly spread brush face along the full working length. They are designed for heavy-duty cleaning, descaling, and polishing of the inner surfaces of boiler tubes, condenser tubes, heat exchangers, industrial pipes, and cylindrical bores.

Available Wire and Filament Materials

• Carbon steel wire — The most aggressive option for heavy-duty rust removal, scale stripping, and surface preparation inside ferrous metal tubes and pipes.
• Stainless steel wire — Corrosion-resistant and non-contaminating. Recommended for stainless steel pipe systems, food processing equipment, pharmaceutical applications, and any environment where carbon contamination is unacceptable.
• Brass wire — Softer than steel wire, suitable for cleaning softer metal tubes, non-ferrous pipe systems, and applications where spark risk must be minimized. Also used for inner bore polishing.
• Abrasive nylon (SiC / Al₂O₃) — For combined cleaning and light surface finishing or deburring inside tubes and bores. Available with male thread shank for power tool use.
• Synthetic fiber (nylon / polypropylene) — For general cleaning of plastic or non-metallic tubes without risk of scratching or contamination.

Handle and Connection Types

• Cut wire handle — The twisted wire stems extend beyond the brush face to form a plain wire handle. Suitable for manual use and flexible extension rod attachment.
• Threaded shank (male thread) — A threaded connection at one or both ends for attaching to tube cleaning rods, extension handles, or power tool chucks. Standard thread sizes available; custom threads on request.
• Double stem / quad stem construction — 2-stem or 4-stem twisted construction available depending on required bristle density and brush face rigidity.
