What is Abrasive Nylon Disc Brush?
Abrasive nylon disc brush(nylox disc brush) is mainly composed of nylon wire containing abrasive grains and a base. Abrasive materials include silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, boron carbide, ceramic, and diamond. The base material can be plastic or metal. It has the functions of grinding/finishing/polishing/deburring and is widely used in various industries.
Common abrasive nylon disc brush applications are as follows:
1. Pre-processing of cold-rolled sheet and galvanized/tin-plated sheet and finishing of metal surface
2. Remove burrs and chamfers after machining
3. Finishing of refrigerator compressor/air conditioner compressor parts
4. Surface finishing of copper strip/aluminum strip coil
5. Decontamination and grinding pressure of copper plates in electronic circuit boards
6. Deburring electroplating of automobile gears/engine parts and surface grinding before painting
7. Surface grinding of castings, deburring of deep holes/related holes
8. Military weapons cleaning
9. Woodworking/surface finishing of three plywood / outstanding processing of complex furniture wood patterns/grinding of concave and convex surfaces
10. Surface polishing of the surface of the hydraulic cylinder liner and the terminal
In addition to abrasive nylon filaments, we can also use slightly softer filaments, such as ordinary nylon filaments (PA6, PA66, PA610), animal and plant hair, Mexican sisal, or other materials according to customer requirements.
The different usage of disc brushes in the industry, it can be divided into the following four categories:
Satin Finishing: Satin finishing is the process of using a soft and fine polishing brush to brush the surface of the part into a matte satin diffuse reflection layer, which can make the surface of the part obtain a non-mirror-like shimmering luster.
Surface cleaning: mainly use the disc polishing brush to clean the oxide scale, rust, old paint layer, welding slag, and other dirt on the surface of the parts, and also to brush off the floating ash remaining after the parts are eroded.
Silk pattern brushing: use a disc polishing brush to brush out regular and fine silk patterns on the surface of the parts, such as wave patterns, fish scale patterns, etc., to achieve decorative purposes.
Deburring: Deburring the edges of machined parts by brushing. This is also a category in that disc polishing brushes are widely used in the industry.
Advantages of Abrasive Nylon Filament Disc Brush:
1. Good acid and alkali resistance, good chemical and organic solvent resistance, no damage to the original surface light solubility, low water absorption of the bristles, suitable for grinding in wet and dry conditions.
2. High durability, strong bristles, and long service life.
3. The bristles have high strength, good strength, hyperboloid, concave and convex surfaces, and various surfaces can be fully and evenly ground.
