Carrier / Holder Types

Industrial strip brushes are typically mounted in an extruded aluminum channel carrier for secure, easy installation on equipment and machinery. We manufacture aluminum carriers in the following profile shapes:

• H-profile — Standard double-sided carrier, bristles extend from both sides. Used where brushing contact is required on two surfaces simultaneously.
• F-profile — Single-sided carrier with a flat mounting base. The most common profile for general industrial strip brush applications.
• T-profile — Top-mounted carrier for slot or channel installation in equipment frames.
• Y-profile — Angled carrier for directional bristle orientation in specialized sealing or guiding applications.

Carriers are available in standard silver anodized aluminum or black anodized aluminum profiles for special applications requiring corrosion resistance or aesthetic requirements. PVC and plastic base carriers are also available for applications where metal holders are not suitable.

• Nylon — The most versatile choice for general cleaning, sealing, and guiding applications
• Polypropylene — Chemical-resistant, suitable for wet or corrosive environments
• Steel wire — Heavy-duty rust removal, descaling, and surface pre-treatment on metal workpieces
• Brass wire — Soft wire for gentle surface treatment, polishing, and conductive applications
• Carbon fiber (ESD) — Anti-static and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection in electronics manufacturing and sensitive environments
• Abrasive nylon (SiC / Al₂O₃) — Deburring, sanding, and surface finishing with controlled cut
• Sisal fiber — Woodworking polishing and sanding applications
• Horsehair — Soft cleaning and polishing on delicate surfaces
